Reflecting back, It was the month of July when I received an email that I have been selected for Amal Career Prep Fellowship. After 3 months, now I see myself graduating It was a long bumpy ride but the most important thing is I kept going and learned to be a lifelong learner and to have a growth mindset in life.

The Day of 18th October 2020 started with an Independence video by Amal Batch-158 and as usual, I was late and missed the video. (Apologies!) The video took us all back to memory lane and everyone got emotional. After that, an interactive activity was arranged by our facilitators called Scavenger Hunt. We had to resolve a riddle and take a picture with an item in the riddle. It was so much fun and interactive. In the end, we lost and Mam Anum’s team won the Scavenger Hunt but we all enjoyed it a lot.

Independence Day Video Flashback

The part I enjoyed the most was when my facilitators shared their compliments for all the fellows of Batch-158. It made us all laugh and emotional at the same time. Lastly, a farewell video for batch-158 was played and a farewell note was shared by our facilitators which made us all gloomy and emotional.

I think emotional connection and just talk is really important for self-development and grooming. I intend to use my learnings in professional as well as personal life in the future. I am planning to keep in touch with the Amal family by giving back what I have learned during this fellowship and attending in-person sessions as Amal Alumnus.

In the end, I would like to thank my facilitators Mam Anum, Sir Ahmad, and all the Amal fellows for making this fellowship a life-changing experience for me. I feel honored to be a part of such a talented and unique bunch of people of Batch-158 and had the chance to learn a lot from all of you. I wish you all the very best of luck for future endeavors in life and would love to meet you all in person one day. Thank you so much for the beautiful memories, you beautiful people of Batch-158. Sayonara! ❤
